About the Role
Develop visual targets that guide and inspire both prototype and production visuals.
Create a wide variety of production materials, from high level look development to production sketches and turn-arounds.
Be a mentor and guide for other concept artists on the team in both giving and receiving constructive, collaborative feedback..
Work closely with the Game Leads, Art Director and Technical Art Director to realize the artistic vision in the game.
Collaborate with the internal and external concept artists to develop the cohesive look and feel of the game world.
6+ years of experience in the games industry as a concept artist.
Strong understanding of game art opportunities and limitations as well as current and cutting edge art tools.
Breadth of concept experience, ideally with experience and passion for both character and environmental design.
Exceptional skills creating both world development look-development art and production concept art (schematics, cutaways, turn-arounds, orthographics, etc)
Some storyboarding experience is preferred, especially in the context of demonstrating game action sequences.
The internal drive, passion for imaginative world-building, and collaborative attitude to build something truly memorable and amazing.
A passion for fantasy stories, worlds and role-playing games.
